Production process

Mining and storage of raw materials
Ceramic raw materials come from mine and soil, which are natural raw material and can be excavated directly in the mine: black clay and white clay determine the basic life of ceramic tile; quartz determines the various properties of ceramic tile; and feldspar determines the vitality and toughness of ceramic tile.

Entrance testing of raw materials

Ceramic tile production has strict requirements on the chemical composition and mineral composition of raw materials, so a series of strict analysis and inspection should be carried out before a large number of raw materials enter the storage yard of the factory. The first step is to analyze the seven major components, plasticity index, whitening index and so on with advanced chemical analysis instruments;

The second step, with professional fast grinding slurry, detect its fluidity, touch denaturation;

the third step is to use the laser size analyzer to measure the ball fineness;

the fourth step is to press the hydraulic press according to the production process;

The fifth step, put into the electric furnace to burn, test its sintering degree, contraction index, etc., in order to judge the number of black spots, foaming, cracking, black heart and other oxides that affect the appearance of the ceramic tile finished products.

The qualified raw materials can be imported into the factory, but these raw materials directly mined by nature are unstable due to climate, weather, formation time, hierarchy and other factors, so they must go through homogenization.

Ingredients
Technicians have mastered a list of ingredients,generally the mature ingredients formula list should be tested repeatedly through the laboratory, and checked in the production line, so that it can enter to the large production. After the ingredients man gets the ingredient list issued by the technician and the ingredients begins, all kinds of raw materials are added to the feeder through the large forklift and then enter the ball mill through the conveyor belt.

Integrated raw material processing

When the ball mill works, it grind the mud material by the rotating ball stone. According to the formula list, the ball mill workers also add various additives and agents to the ball mill. The ball mill process needs the laser particle size analyzer to continuously detect the fineness of the mud, and only after the standard it can be a ball, the original ""raw material+water"" becomes the mud material containing about 30% water.

The factory adopts large tonnage ball mill, through the long time ball mill processing of the wear-resistant alumina ball stone, ensure that the coarse particles in the raw materials become more fine, more uniform.

Brick press forming

The powder in the hopper is pressed through the cloth grille. The pressing process is divided into three steps:

the first step, light pressure exhaust;

the second step, pressure and then exhaust;

the third step, adding the pressure to the ultimate.

To meet the density requirements, the whole process should be very fine. First, the packing should be uniform; second, the pressing time and speed should be very accurate and controlled by the computer; and then the release should be very accurate, otherwise it is easy to crack. Different press tonnage presses different sizes of products, which determines the thickness, size, density, hardness and other different parameters of the billet. The tonnage of the press directly determines the density and hardness of the ceramic tiles. Foshan ceramics is equipped with the world's advanced large 7200 ton press, to ensure the super hard wear resistance of products.

Dry and cool the bricks

The brick billet(tile body) after the press molding contains a certain amount of water, even if it is very small, the water, will affect the strength of the brick, therefore, the brick is then sent to the drying kiln for drying. After drying the brick, the moisture content decreased from 7% to about 0.5%. The length of the drying kiln determines the moisture drying degree of the ceramic tile. The ultra-long horizontal roller drying kiln used in Foshan ceramics can not only make the moisture content of the brick less than 0.5%, but also make the firing without deformation. The dried bricks should be cooled and cleaned on the surface before entering the next process.

Brick water spray: the brick needs to spray water before the bottom glaze, its function is: (1) reduce the billet temperature to the temperature needed for the glaze, open the capillary holes on the blank surface; (2) strengthen the combination of the blank and glaze, reduce production defects, such as shrinkage glaze, etc.

Apply the bottom glaze to the brick

Burning

The glazed brick is sent from the conveyor belt to the roller kiln for firing. The main fuel of the roller kiln can use diesel oil, natural gas or furnace methane, and the firing temperature can reach more than 1200℃. The kiln can be divided into three belts from the change of the whole temperature: pre-tropical, burning zone and cooling zone. The burning time and temperature of each belt are strictly controlled by the computer. The brick that passes through high temperature burns produced qualitative change, became the ceramic tile on true sense at this time.

Elastic polishing

After completing the grinding edge measurement, the tile enters the thick on the conveying line, and the brick surface is polished and smooth, and then into the middle, from the rough to the middle, can throw away the brick thickness of 0.1-0.2 ㎜, from the brick out of the machine, its smooth degree is a bit like a matte brick. Packaging and warehousing

After the classification, the products can enter the automatic packaging process, according to different products and sizes, with different number of packaged pieces, large and heavy tiles is small, and the number of small and fine tiles is large, mainly for the convenience of inventory, transportation, purchase of the whole box. The packaged ceramic tiles can be stored in strict accordance with the product category, model, grade and color number. Quality inspection personnel inspect the storage products also regular sampling o the storage of the products, carefully check on the last quality before the factory.
